October is finally here!!!!
I LOVE october. Usually. I'm hoping this year won't disappoint! I love the trees changing colors, the crisp, cooling air, sweater weather... apple picking, pumpkin picking... my FAVORITE holiday- halloween! You can be sure there will be some apple pie and candy corn around here pretty soon... I just love everything about this glorious month!
I started my month off with a great 30-minute full body strength routine. I combined 1 1/2 sets of 15 of my Self moves wth some pushups, squats, and bicep curls on the bosu stability ball. Then I set out to make one of my favorite breakfasts; oats- which I haven't had in a few days!! I combined my usual; 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, a spoonful of pb, big banana, 1/2 c chobani and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I'm going to try and make pumpkin oats sometime soon as well, but I didn't have any pumpkin today!!
I have a semi-busy day. Not too much school; I just have two classes (but one is an exam review), then a few hours of straight studying before my Nutrition club meeting, then hopefully I'm going out to dinner with the boy later on tonight.
Here's what I packed for the day;
mid-morning snack- 1/2 clif bar
lunch- kalamata/artichoke hummus with spinach and 1 slice reduced fat provolone on a whole wheat wrap, grape tomatoes, apple
I should be home for a snack later on.
I'll be back after dinner!

my friends studying abroad went to octoberfest in germany! ahhh sounds crazy. LOVE the hummus and cheese sammie combo that you make. i tried it - so good!!
