Scaled it

Well, my food that is.

Another unfortunately restless night last night...
dozed off eventually but took me a while to get there =(
I was excited to get up, though...
I used my new food scale to measure myself a proper 1 oz serving of slivered almonds... 30 g, 1 ounce =) for 167 kcals, 16 g fat
This topped my 8 oz (1 cup) of Fage 0% greek yogurt (I love this stuff- 20 grams of protein in a cup for only 120 kcals, and no fat!)
I also had 1/3 cup fresh blueberries (thought it was 1/4 cup measure, thats ok 1/3 cup was perfect! (about 30 kcal, .5 g fat)
I also had 1 tsp of honey on top of this. (20 kcal)
It was yummy, and perfectly sweet!
The only other thing I added (for some extra fruit) was 1/2 the juicy grapefruit I peeled yesterday; 53 kcal, .5 g fat.
Altogether this comes to:
~ 390 kcal, 18 g fat

It's so gross and dreary again... I have a lot to do today! Lets hope for some sun!

Edit: I forgot to mention... I started reading "Yogi in the Kitchen" last night, and it is WONDERFUL... combines all my favorite "diets" into one! I can't wait to try some of the recipes =)

I love my food scale! I have been using one for a few years now, but I don't take it to school with me...I am afraid my roomie might think I am a tad strange. Oh wait, she things that anyway. What brand is yours?

It's just a standard Salter digital food scale... I got it at Crate & Barrel for only about $30 but I have DEFINATELY gotten wayyyy more tha 30 uses out of it already, I love it!
