I've got a riddle for ya: What does a crazy college kid do on a Saturday night?
Her dishes and chem homework.
Haha- tonight is definately an R&R night. I had a snack of a big apple sprinkled with cinnamon, now I'm sipping some herbal cinnamon spice tea (it's a cinnamon-y night!).
Snack calories: ~100 (REALLY big apple)
I'm about ready to curl up with the fun new book I'm reading- It's called Julie & Julia, all about a woman who decides to take on the challenge of trying EVERY recipe in Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking.
It's good so far, but I just started!
I can't wait until tomorrow morning; I'm making my swiss oats tonight to have for breakfast, then I'm going to Hot Yoga with Mom, and I work later tonight... Gotta watch the big game, too- I'm a New England girl, so GO PATS!
Have a great night!
Kristin

Hey Kristen,
I'm amazed at Julie as I wouldn't have the tenacity to cook dishes based on all the recipes. Wait till you get to the portion when she makes aspics and she can't stand the stuff! hahah
Oh you've read it! Yeah, she's funny- I'm excited to read more!
Hi Kristin, Do you go to All That Matters? I went there once on a Sat. morning and the class I went to was an intro (I went with my mom). Anyway, I was turned off by what appeared to be there very strict policy re: signing up ahead of time for classes, buying packages, etc. Am I wrong? Is it more laid back than advertised? I go to another studio, but would like to go there on some nights when I have class and can't get to my studio.
I go to All that Matters as well as the Y. (I have a membership there) I usually try to make it to 1 class a week at ATM and 1 at the Y. It's not too strict, I've seen people walk in before... but it's usually pretty packed so I know they prefer you to sign up ahead of time. You can call, and pay on that day, stop in or do what I do- sign up on line. It's quick and easy, and they have your name down when you get there so you can go right in!
What studio do you go to?
Thanks, I might give it another try. I go to Raffa in NK.
I've never been there, what style of yoga do you practice?
That particular studio is Forest Yoga, which I had never done before. The classes I go to are pretty much standard vinyasa flow classes, but it is heated to 90 degrees. There is a studio in Cranston, too. If you are ever nearby you should give it a try!
