Finally, some warmth!

The wind's still kickin' out there but the temp has increased significantly... it's about 40 degrees right now, getting warmer! And the sun is out, which is always nice =)

This morning I woke up energized for my run... but when I got there they had the track set up for a meet later, plus the Field Hockey team was practicing, so I had to resort to other forms of exercise! That's ok with me, I'm planning on running tomorow anyways at the Y. I had a nice 45-minute cardio session, 30 minute on the cross trainer and 15 on the stationary bike. I was sweaty and felt pretty good, I guess thats an indication of a succesful workout!

Before I left I had 1/2 a whole wheat english muffin with 1/2 tbsp PB, and 1 tsp raspberry jam. Afterwards, I had the other 1/2 the same way (PB & jam) and also had 1 cup 1% cottage cheese and a large juicy plum. I love this breakfast; it's easy and gives me just enough energy to fuel my mornings!

I have a busy afternoon, a text in Kinesiology, then I have to get ready for work before I head to my chem help session... then I work immediately afterwards. I think I'll be having my leftovers for lunch today instead of dinner, and taking some veggie chili to work with me tonight instead... seems most time efficient!
