Ordering in

So my friend Tyler and I were trying to decide on dinner for tonight, so we decided to order in instead of going through the effort of waiting in line at the dining hall, etc. Plus it's getting pretty cold out there again! I was looking forward to the salmon they were offering, but hey- it's valentines day, something different will be nice =)

So, we ordered from one of the little places at the top of campus... I'm being a bit bad... I got pasta (ziti, NOT whole grain... I only do this once in a while!) with eggplant and marinara (for some veggies!) and the cheese on the side.
Now I'm waiting for it, and I figured I'd post you my lunch/snacks for today!

I packed myself a nice lunch of an english muffin with 2 tbsp hummus, some cucumber, red pepper and spinach leaves. With this I had my usual baby carrots and a sliced pear! Standard, filled me a couple hours, then I snacked on a Cherry Pie larabar (I was hungry, no pic- sorry!) before lab.



Lunch calories: ~385 kcals
Snack calories: 190 kcals

Lab took the whole 3 hours, so of course I was hungry afterwards!
I stopped by the union and was pleasantly surprised to find out I had a package waiting for me! I love my mom, she sent me some school supplies (my favorite pens!) and some treats- my fave KIND bars, and Late July Organic Sandwich cookies! Gotta love care packages =)
When I got home it was about 5:15, and I snacked on a juicy nectarine and in the spirit of valentines day... a small hersheys chocolate heart to tide me until dinner.




Snack #2 calories: ~110 kcals
