The crazy wind and super heavy rain woke me up early this morning... I looked outside and I have honestly NOT seen this much rain since I got to campus in September. I mean, I am a pretty light sleeper (I have to wear earplugs to drown out the noise of my neighbors) but this storm made me shoot right up.
I went back to bed, and thought about exercise options. I considered skipping the gym and doing some strength/yoga here at the dorm... then I remembered Wednesday is usually my long run, and I might get kicked off the track tomorrow (darn football team...) so I figured I might as well jog through the rain and get a nice run in. I figured because it was so rainy there wouldn't be a lot of people around... but after a while the rain died down and it got pretty packed. I still got a nice 45 minute run in though!
Before I left, I had 1/2 a whole wheat english muffin with 1/2 tbsp pb and 1 tsp raspberry jam- had the other half the same way with 1 cup 1% cottage cheese and a big chilean peach (not as juicy as the ones I got a W.F. but still yummy!) for a satisfying, basic breakfast.
Since it's raining my plans have changed a bit today; some studying in the morning, then class and I'm heading back to the dorm for lunch and some chem review (instead of Starbucks... I don't want to risk having to trek from Flagg in the pouring rain at 10pm... tonight's a lonnnggg night at work) before I head to work for 4.
I hope this works out and I don't get too distracted being in the dorm studying, I have my chem exam tomorrow!
I did get my lab report finished last night though, which was good- a little less on my plate!
Time to get organized. Hopefully the wind will calm a bit before I have to head to Kinesiology!
