As I had mentioned, I'm all out of my Quaker Oats... except for 1/4 cup. I didn't buy any more because I figured soon enough I'll be ready for some cold cereals (if it ever warms up) But for now, I couldn't go with my regular Tuesday morning creamy oats combo- what to do? I decided to combine 1 packet Quaker Simple Harvest Vanilla, Honey, Almond with the 1/4 cup I already had to make a delicious new, quick oat-combo. I combined these with 1 cup hempmilk, and stirred in 1 tbsp PB for some more healthy fats, because there didn't seem to be too many almonds in the pack. I skipped them flax because it says theres some of that in there too. I topped big bowl with the rest of my big banana, stirred it together and enjoyed! It was verrrryy sweet (probably from all that vanilla!) but I liked it a lot. Let's just see how long it fills me...

I also went for a 35 minute run this morning. Still cold, I'm sooo hoping it warms up by the time I get back from break so I can start my outdoor running again! I'm getting stir-crazy on the track!
Slightly busy today... but I'll try and post when I get out of class, in between my mini baking excursion... we'll see how that goes!

i tried that exact same oatmeal this morning! haha i'm already hungry though (i ate it at 9ish). did you ever run track in high school? when you run 35 min on the track do you ever get bored? how fast of a pace do you like to run? just curious. have a great tuesday :D
My oatmeal kept me full, but I'm sure it's only because of the extra 1/4 cup I added, as well as the fats in the PB. It was yummy though! I didn't run track in high school, I only got into running junior year, and I considered it but wanted to focus on my studies senior year... which definately paid off!
I love to run now, I do get bored sometimes on the track... but I think a lot about inventing recipes, my plans for the week, and listen to music so it helps the time go by!
I run at about a 7:30-7:45 mile, flat course... about 8-8:30 min mile hills, depending on how far I run.
