Another amazing breakfast creation today; I wanted to use up the last of my Simple Harvest packets, so I cooked up one with an additional 1/4 cup regular oats and 1 cup hemp milk (I missed how creamy this makes my oats!), then when it was all nice and ready I stirred in a tablespoon of almond butter. Now, I am still a GIANT PB fan, don't get me wrong- but I LOVE how almond butter changes the taste of things; it definately goes better with apples than PB! However, I do miss my banana/pb combo before my run- this morning I had1/2 a big banana with 1 tsp almond butter, and it was good- definately fueled my 35 minute run, but just wasn't the same. The verdict? I think having
both almond butter and PB on hand for different combos is the way to go. Gotta love those nuts!

I'm so excited to hang out with my sister tonight! I just need to get through classes before we can get there... ugh.
I hope everyone's Thursdays go well- just think, the work week is almost over- tomorrow's friday! Yay! =)

Hi Kristin! Banana-Almond butter oats made with hemp milk is my favorite breakfast ever! I think the almond butter mixes better into the oats than pb!
I agree, not only was this breakfast DELICIOUS, it held me over for way longer than usual! Way to go fiber, healthy fats and protein! =)
