Childhood favorites

For my snack and dessert tonight, I chose to have the other 1/2 of my grapefruit from yesterday, as well as a few Girl Scout cookies!
I was always into Girl Scouts growing up; always in a troop, I loved going to camp, my family was very involved in it, my mom was my leader for years, my Grandma worked at the shop and was very involved in the cookie process, so I was always exposed to Girl Scout cookies- my first ever cookie was a shortbread!
I've always loved Girl Scout cookies above all other cookies! This year even though I was too old to sell and my sister wasn't part of a troop anymore, my cousins sold cookies, and to make a long story short (er) I had requested a few when my mom was ordering and she picked some up for me, which I had at the house. Well, I somehow neglected the fact that I had a whole bunch of delicious cookies waiting for me in my room for quite some time, and it wasn't until this past weekend I remembered they were there and deicided I had to bring some back with me this week for my nightly treats!

Tonight I had three of my tasty favorites; a Thin Mint, Caramel Delite, and Lemonade. Yum!

I've gotta admit, it's pretty hard to restrict myself to just a few G.S. cookies. I have been known to eat and entire sleeve of Thin Mints! (This was pre healthy eating, of course) but thats why I just took a few of each kind back with me and left the rest for my family to indulge in!

Tough one! I love them all, truly... but I think Thin Mints and Caramel deLites are the tastiest!

Haha, oh yes, I remember Girl Scout Cookies. I used to love the Tag-A-Longs, Do-Si-Dos, and the Juliettes :0) I found a recipe for a raw version (and obviously HEALTHIER version) of Girl Scout cookies that I'm anxious to try!

Girl Scout Cookies!!!!! I totally remember wanting to eat them all when I was supposed to be selling them. They never lasted long in my house :)
