Ali had never tried my favorite Mexican place on campus, Tio Mateos, so we grabbed our burritos to go, and had a picnic on the quad to enjoy the weather and delicious food!
I love Tios, because the food is always fresh, flavorful, and they have the option of a wheat tortilla!
I decided on my favorite, the veggie burrito on a wheat wrap; which was stuffed with zucchini, summer squash, green pepper, onions, corn, black bean, tomatoes and some queso fresco (Not too much, so it didn't bother me!). I finished the entire big wrap, but it was all pretty healthy so I felt very full, but not stuffed.
Of course I DID end up stuffing myself with the extra guacamole and salsa with tortilla chips we ordered on the side... I couldn't resist, I love the home made stuff!
(I ate about 1/2 of each the guac and salsa and about 10 tortilla chip pieces, maybe 5 whole ones)
Felt a little over full afterwards, but it was a once in a while treat!
After a couple hours of chilling out in my room (the quad got a bit windy) we decided to head to the Rhody Market for our dessert treat- swirled frozen yogurt! My sister and I both chose our favorite- fat free vanilla with oreo swirl. Mmm, a delicious treat to top off a fun night!
I almost forgot: this afternoon I snacked on an apple and a small handful of nuts to hold me until dinner!
I am exhausted, even though I had a pretty easy day and relaxing night- I haven't been sleeping the best lately. Luckily tomorrow's Friday- I just have one class and then ANOTHER dessert date with a couple friends later at night, hopefully I won't get home too late! I like my relaxation on the weekends =)

WAIT i also had a mexican picnic on my school's quad today..haha randommm
Fun! You're so lucky that you get to see your mom and sister all the time, how do they live to your school?
Danielle,
They only live about 20-25 minutes away, so I am lucky I get to see them often!
Living so close has also given me the opportunity to go home for the night usually once a week and cook on a real stove, which I need for my sanity! =)
