Ginger really is the all-natural cure-all! It seems like every simple malady, from headaches to stomach aches, can be cured by the wonder of ginger. Plus, it's super tasty!
My ginger tea did the trick, of course- my stomach's not perfect but it is significantly better than it was, and I was fine enough to have my dessert!
I was craving chocolate again, so I went for two of my favorite whole grain dark chocolate cookies (Late July brand) along with my tea to end my night.
Boy, am I tired! I better get to bed soon so I have energy for my busy busy day tomorrow.
G'night!
Kristin

so glad that the ginger goodies are helping your stomach!! hope they continue to do so.
by the way, you should give the Gingersnap flavor of Larabars a try, if you haven't done so :0)
When is your next race? I know you said you had one coming up in the next few weeks. Is it just a 5K or longer? I'm getting ready to sign up for the Lewis and Clark half marathon here in St. Louis, which isn't until September, but as always, training starts early. Good luck with your training AND weight gaining :) Hard to do at once I know. Have a great wednesday.
p.s. I'm a very lucky girl today. I get to make a trip with my mom to Whole Foods today! Oh how I love my mom :)
I bet ginger tea does help out!
Mmmm, cookies!
Veggiegirl,
I have tried the Gingersnap Larabar, I love it! Actually, I haven't found a Larabar I haven't loved! I'm sure I won't, they're fantastic!
Sara F ,
My first race of the season is on Saturday. It's a 5k, but it's supposed to be really rainy and it will be my first race without using a head set (no CD/Mp3 players are allowed) so I'm not sure how it is going to go!
I really want to do a half marathon as well, I might try for one in the fall if I can get back into training after I get back from Italy this summer.
And I am so jealous- I haven't been to Whole Foods in so long, have fun!!
