Perfect night for a barbeque

Ok, so this isn't real barbequed food (although I wish it was), more like micro-bbq, but it would be the perfect night if I had access to a grill! Instead, I chose to fake the traditional bbq by going grill-less and meatless- but it still tasted mighty delicious!
For dinner back at the dorm, I chose to have one of my favorite "faux meat" products- Gardenburger Meatless Riblets, with some leftover quinoa (about 1 cup) and about 1 1/2 cups of steamed garlic cauliflower on the side. It had sooo much flavor, it was a super satisfying meal! (Plus, it was quick and easy which was great!)

This afternoon for a snack I whipped up a quick nutrient-rich fruit smoothie using a few things we had on hand at my house to sip on the way to school. I added a chopped pear, some fresh strawberries, frozen mango, 1 cup vanilla soy milk, and a tablespoon of flax. It was very tasty, and held me over perfectly until dinnertime!

Sorry this is such a quick post, I'm about to go help some dorm friends dye their hair blue, so this should be quite an adventure!

I've been meaning to try these riblets, glad to hear that they're so easy to make...even yummy in the micro!
