I just got back from grocery shopping, it was a good trip- I stocked up on basically everything I need for the week, and I did it under $40!
Here’s what I bought:
-Organic Baby carrots
-Cucumber
-Red & Yellow Bell Pepper
-Plums
-Kiwi
-Blueberries
-Apples
-Pears
-Nature’s Path Peanut Butter Granola
-Silk Soy Yogurt in Strawberry, Vanilla, Peach and Key Lime
-Pecan Pie Larabar
-Bananas
-Matthew’s Whole Wheat English Muffins
-Rudi’s organic Spelt Tortillas
-Morningstar Asian Vegetable burgers
As well as ingredients for tonight’s dinner… I found Garam Masala AND rosewater! Yes! I was so excited, I feel like my meal will be more “authentic” now =)
I still need to pick up some tofurkey and almond butter at the Alternative Food Co-op tomorrow, but I managed to get everything else on my list!
In between stores I snacked on a pear and some mixed nuts; and then my mom treated me to Starbucks so it was almost like double snacks today- (but she claimed I deserved it after doing so well in the race, I said ok!) I had a delicious Tall Soy Misto… sooo rich and creamy with the new Pike Place blend- a great afternoon pick-me-up!

sounds like a successful grocery trip!! ooh, the Pecan Pie Larabar is on my list favorite Larabar flavors :0)
is that a d'anjou pear?? that's my favorite variety.
