You have dreams about additives in foods! I had the funniest dream last night... I dreamt that all of the natural, healthy, organic foods I have been eating were all a lie and that everything- including produce, contained harmful chemicals and gross preservatives! I woke up a little bit paranoid, but then again I was thinking... this nightmare IS somewhat true. No matter what type of product you buy, theres probably going to be something in it added to preserve freshness, or add color, etc... additives are pretty inescapable. Still, I try and base my diet around pretty whole, unprocessed foods whenever I can to reduce the possible effects of the gross "chemical shit storm" (as stated by Skinny Bitch) could have on my healthy body!
That being said, I woke up this morning and had a nice 1/2 banana with 1 tsp PB snack to fuel my run- I ran for just over 30 minutes, and then did a few lunges on the straightaway of the track before heading back to the dorm.
For breakfast this morning I used another Quaker Simple Harvest pack (Vanilla, Almond, Honey) and combined it with 1/4 cup regular oats, 1 cup nonfat soy milk, the other 1/2 of my banana and a tablespoon of PB. It was good, but the thin soy milk made it take soooo long to cook!
I'm in for another busy day today, I have a philosophy essay exam first thing, then I have a little time for lunch/studying before chemistry, and then later this afternoon I have a meeting for the honor society I'm in before I'm off to go to my friend Danielle's "Breakfast for Dinner" party. Should be fun, I'm bringing a couple vegetarian sausages!

Okay, you and I ate eerily similar this morning: before my workout, I had 1/2 a banana with 1 tablespoon of almond-butter; and then after my workout, I had oatmeal with the other 1/2 of my banana, another tablespoon of almond-butter, and a splash of almond-milk.
