I did NOT get a good night's sleep last night.
On one hand, it's ok because it is Saturday and I don't have school today. On the other hand, I plan on working out, picking up some baking supplies from the 'rents house, then eating lunch, making a ganache, baking a devil's food cake, then picking up Nick, frosting the cake, getting pretty, making him a late birthday dinner, then setting up, and having a little party to celebrate the big 2-2. Whew.
See why I'm a bit nervous about how this day is going to go?!?
I may have to resort to a bit of artificial energy through caffeine to keep me through the day, which I don't like doing but is sometimes quite necessary =(
On a nicer note I woke up and had a delicious satisfying breakfast- my favorite yogurt bowl of a 0% chobani topped with a big sliced banana, 1/4 cup of almonds and a dollop of Bonne Maman Raspberry. Sweet, Crunchy, Creamy and filling... just what the doctor ordered!
I'm sippng a big cup of Earl Grey to start... I'll be out the door in no time to try and get in some sort of a workout!! I don't want to push myself too hard though, so I think a nice long walk might be in order. I'll try and post this afternoon, if not a recap will appear ASAP!!
