Taking it easy

I really need to get some work done, I'm sitting here watching cooking on The Food Network and procrastinating!

I got a couple things checked off my to-do list this morning...
My mom and I went for a walk, as planned- and it was very nice out aside from a bit of a cool wind, so we walked 45 minutes, and I burned 211 calories. Interesting- I burned 217 yesterday running the same distance! Goes to show, calorie for calorie you burn the same at the same distance... you just have to spend a little more time working out when you're at a lower intensity! But you already knew that =)
I had a small snack after- 3 multigrain bagel chips spread with some all natural TJ's peanut butter.

After showering I went to Rite Aid for a couple things with my mom, we stopped at the puppy store (!!) for a couple minutes, just because... and then I came home and had some lunch.

My mom made yet another incredible crock pot creation the other day she saved for me! This one is split pea soup with sausage.

Not photogenic, at all I know. But it was delicious!

I also had some strawberries (a lot prettier!)

Ok, time to get some work done. Tonight I'm making a big Italian feast, I'm hoping the house isn't too trashed when I get there later!
