Standard Sunday...

Yoga class was good this morning, didn't get as hot and sweaty as I have some weeks in the past, but that's ok... I'm still not feeling the greatest!
Luccily, I did get my meds, and am a bit better this evening than I was this morning.

For lunch we stopped by the "True Brew" Cafe... they have a special chef who cooks brunch on Sundays, it was fantastic!
I guess I'm feeling fishy this weekend because I ordered the Special Salmon Salad!
I usually try not to eat fish a few days in a row, but I haven't had tuna in a while, so I'm not too worried about mercury with salmon.
This salad was SOOO good! I kind of wish I had ordered the balsamic viniagrette on the side, there was a ton on it, but I tried to pick around the giant globs.
The salad was made of mixed field greens, with roasted pears (mmmm...), dried cranberries (mmm again), walnuts and almonds (healthy fats!) and gorgonzola (one of my faves! a little saturated fat, but there wasn't TOO much on there...) and topped with a big piece of grilled salmon! I left most of the cranberries, a few nuts and pieces of gorgonzola, a bunch of the "drenched" lettuce (ate all the rest!) and about 2/3 the salmon.
I was totally satisfied!

Did some grocery shopping (i'll post my list tomorrow... I'm tired!), and some studying.
I didn't even need the banana I brought with me for a snack before work. I did, however have a tall nonfat latte (90 kcal) to give me some caffiene fuel for the night.... I've been feeling EXHAUSTED (probably the darn cold...).

Only had a short break tonight, so I quickly ate 2 cups of Health Valley Black Bean Soup (260 kcal, 3 g fat), 1/2 a sliced bell pepper, and the banana I brought for a snack. Dinner altogether was only about 400 kcals... I brought kashi crackers but didn't have time to eat them!

When I got home, I was SUPER tired... but had a bunch of unpacking to do (actually STILL have a bunch of unpacking to do!)
so I had my usual snack- a nonfat yogurt.

THEN... I decided I still wanted something, so I settled with some yogi tea to calm, and a small piece of my homemade biscotti for a sweet treat. Perfect ending!

My prescription for wellness:

I NEED to get some sleep... I'm going to try to run tomorrow morning if the weather isn't so bad, and we'll see how I feel.
Good night for now!
