Boy, do I hate Rhode Island winters.
Last evening it was cold and snowing when I went to bed (tried to get to bed early but I had sooo much work to do... still got a pretty good night's sleep, though.) but I guess it must have warmed up overnight, because when I woke up this morning most of the snow had melted, and there was water EVERYWHERE! Literally streaming down the streets. The good part was it wasn't cold at all; almost warm feeling, actually, so I headed through the slush and water down to the gym, where I ran my nice 40 minute run! On the way back the rain started to POUR... so unfortunately I am going to be a very soaked girl heading into Kinesiology later
Before I ran I had 1/2 a clif bar for a snack.. tried a new flavor, Banana Nut Bread. OMG... sooo good! I think I have a new favorite. Definately reccomend it. Plus, it gave me great fuel through my run.
Back at the dorm I made myself one of my favorite breakfasts, Fage with granola and berries. This morning instead of going with all granola, I used up the last bit of Kashi GoLean Honey, Almond, Flax I had on hand- exactly 1/2 cup, with 1/2 cup Nature's Path Pumpkin Flax granola, a Fage 0% and 3/4 cup blueberries. Perfectly delicious and filling!
This breakfast (including the clif) was ~505 kcals.
Now I have to get together all my review material for KIN... we have our first test on Friday!
