EXHAUSTED.

This morning I "woke up" exhausted. Slept some, probably because I was so tired, but woke up feeling like I hadn't slept at all. On top of not having slept much in the past WEEK, I am seriously in some maaaajor sleep debt. Def. planning on making up some of that tonight!

I woke up in just enough time to get ready for work, no workout this morning (no time) so I'm hoping to get a little walk in tonight- maybe just 15 or 20 minutes, but something depending on how I'm feeling... then get back into running tomorrow. (Gotta burn off some of those pre-St. Paddy's day feast cals! hehe)

For breakfast I threw together a filling bowl of oats- 1/2 cup instant irish oats, 1 cup vanilla soymilk (West Soy brand), 1 tbsp peanut butter, a GIANT banana, flax and cinnamon. Tasty, and held me four whole hours at work!

Of course I was hunrgy for lunch, but I made myself a big tofurky sandwich on 2 slices of Rudi's organic honey sweet bread (I bought this after a couple of suggestions for it, and it was really good! Thick and dense but soft and sweet. Mmm- and totally filling!) with 1 slice reduced fat cheddar, some romaine and whole grain dijon mustard (about 1 tsp). I had packed a pear and some baby carrots along with it, but I was totally full after the sandwich and pear, so I saved the carrots and had them with my apple for a snack on the way home. (Gotta have my veggies!)

After a long 7 hours at work I stopped at the Alternative food co op for some staples for this week/my dorm... I got some Amy's dressing and tofu steaks to bring back with me, banana chips to snack on, and some hickory smoked tofurky slices for lunches this week (more delish sandwiches on my new bread!).

Now I'm about ready to go have dinner... I have NO idea what I'm having, because tonight my little sister is cooking for me! So I'm going to be surprised! Shes making a delish vegetarian meal just for me... I'm so excited! I'll post more later! =)

Ughh Soo so Sorry to hear about your disastorous night last night, but the food and concert sound great! I would have been so nervous if I was you, good thing you made it out safe though! I might have to try out that pizza place though, is it in Allston?

Yeah, it's a little hole in the wall joint with green signs that say "VEGAN" and "TJ's Pizza and Subs"
487 Cambridge Street, right next to an Asian vegetarian restaurant that looked yummy as well (maybe I'll try it someday if we find better parking...haha)
VERY good vegan pizza though, crispy thin crust, sweet sauce, mmmm! Their calzones and subs looked good as well! =)
