I got out of lab early, so I decided to post up the entry I wrote this afternoon:
Well, what's done is done.
I'm writing this at 1:30- I finished my exam in 40 minutes. I don't think I aced it by any means, but at least I feel mich more confident in my knowledge and understanding this time around. Maybe my new study techniques paid off? I guess we'll see. It was definately the most nerve wracking test I've ever taken, hands down. Worse than mid-terms, finals... just because this grade seems so important to me, I'll probably be laughing at myself when it comes time to take my RD exam, but we're not there yet! Organic chem first! I was shaking throughout my lunch with nerves, reading my nutrition book and trying to calm down before the exam... different cultures' opinions on bug eating didn't help too much. Oh well.
My lunch was tasty, though! Last night I took a whole wheat wrap and slathered the rest of the hummus I had on hand in it. I honestly didn't even make an effort to measure it because there wasn't too much left in the container and i'm really trying not to be worried about excess calories; especially from healthy sources. I need those the most nowadays! If I had to estimate I'd say this was about 2.5-3 tbsp give or take a bit. On top of the smooth hummus I added some romaine lettuce, cucmber, bell pepper strips and red onion. I also packed some baby carrots and a large plum. The plums I've had lately have been really good, just sour enough and juicy!
This lunch was tasty and healthy but not extremely substantial- I was definately hungry for my cashew cookie larabar snack at 1:45.
Lunch altogether:
A peek at my veggie wrap:
Filling Snack!
Now I'm all ready to go eat some delicious splurge foods and hang out with my best friend! I'm verrrry hungry, which probably isn't good... but it should be a good time =)
