Fruit and "cake"

Haven't gotten as much done as planned this evening, we had a few visitors in the room for a good couple of hours so I was extremely distracted by interesting conversations!
I did manage to finish my Kinesiology notes, but I still have plenty of packing for the weekend and dishes to do, so I better get on that so I can get to bed at a decent time!

For my snack tonight, I had a small bowlful of red grapes and a luna teacake- I love all of these, this one was berry-pomegranate. Kind of reminded me of those nutri-grain bars I used to eat as a kid, but much healthier and more flavorful! Yum!

I'm off to get "stuff" done...

I used to eat Luna teacakes all the time - have you tried the orange blossom flavor? that one was my favorite.

Have a great night!! Get enough rest!! :0)

I actually have the orange blossom flavor, I was deciding between that one and this pomegranate one tonight! I'll have to try that one.

I like these bars, but they are a "treat" because of all of the ingredients they have... not bad ingredients, just a lot! I like my foods simple and pure =)

I will be sure to get some rest, I'm heading to bed right now!
Have a great weekend!

Hi! my name is Nora--I found your site through Chocolate Covered Vegan's links. Have you tried Clif's Kids Z bars? they're delicious (esp. the peanut butter one)..i just mention it because I thought it was a Z bar at first in the picture because of the icing pattern!
thanks for posting all your inspiring recipes and ideas!

hey, just wanted to say congrats on your new house. It's so exciting to be getting out on your own for the first time. My friend and I are renting an old duplex. It's basically just the lower level of this little old house in downtown St. Louis. It's pretty wonderful, old wood floors, heigh ceilings, even a few of those old fashioned stained glass window. And of course a kitchen! Anyway, as you can see, i'm excited too!
Happy Friday!

Nora,
I'm glad you like the blog! I haven't tried Clif Z-bars yet, but I might soon- I've heard lots of good things about them!

Sara F,
Congrats! Its so exciting being able to have a place to call your own (well, your own for a year!). And of course the kitchen is my favorite part! Ours is tiny, but its got a stove and a fridge so I'm all set! =)
