Burgers, Calamari, Calzones and... Jäger?

Last night was quite the night! I had a few s&p cashews before we left to hold me over, and then I went out with my best friend Danielle and a couple of our guy friends from her work; to The Mews Tavern, my favorite pub (in the US that is). I was driving, so the guys thought it would be fun to grab some drinks while we waited for Danielle... and throughout dinner. Oh, boys.
For dinner I ordered one of my Mews' favorites- their freshly made calzones. They make brick oven pizza, so the calzones are made with fresh dough, and cooked in the brick oven to melty perfection. I had the vegetarian Bandit Calzone, which was filled with broccoli, tomato, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, cheese and garden burger crumbles! This combo is SO good, and served with the Mews' home made marinara makes it all the better! The calzones are HUGE... but I still managed to pack away 3/4 of this baby, (dipped in the marinara of course) and it was worth it. We had a great time at dinner, laughing and joking around- I'm going to miss the guys when they leave!

So about 6 shots of Jager and a couple beers each later, we headed back. Needless to say I had some pretty silly boys in my car.
We headed back home, and hung out for a while- went for a walk on the beach, sat around and talked. I didn't get to bed as late as I have been, so luckily I'm pretty rested this morning!

For breakfast, I had a bowl of Kashi Go Lean Crunch (1.25 cups), 1 cup of soymilk and a nectarine.

I plan on having a snack later this morning, and doing some exercise before going out to lunch with my friend Katrina. Then I have an eye doctor's appointment later today, so my afternoon blog might be late because my eyes will be a bit fuzzy!
But I promise I'll still post, and questions WILL be up later today!

Ohmigosh calzones are sooo good- as long as they're freshly made of course!

How about Saturday, September 6 or Sunday, September 7??

Although both sound fine, I guess I'd prefer Saturday so I don't have to worry about having school the next day. Saturday it is! I'll post the date in my next entry to see if it works well with everyone's schedules. :)
