Humpday exhaustion

Today was a pretty good day, but I was literally studying from 10am-4pm, so I was pretty tired when the day was over!
I headed to class this morning, and felt pretty good all through my first class. My smoothie held me over well until Anatomy, when I snacked on my granola. After a trip to the Memorial Union to grab a book for one of my classes, I sat down to eat my lunch and study... for 4 hours!!
At least I got my work done!

After studying I made my way to Ranger Hall, where I had a good nutrition club meeting. We sampled Belly Bars, a nutritious bar geared for pregnant women- they heard we were a group of future Nutritionists and had us try their bars so we can reccomend them! They were tasty, and had a good nutritional profile! My camera was at home, but I only had a tiny square.
After the meeting I snacked on my nectarine, but I was still hungry, so I stopped at my parent's house for a couple minutes, sped home, had a Chobani Vanilla, and quickly sped to a local high school where my sister was playing Volleyball!

I was so excited to see her play, she hit the ball a few times and they won!!
I just stayed for her game because I didn't want to stay out too late, but I wished the Varsity team good luck and left.

For dinner I made myself a delicious, easy creation- a personal Fritatta!
I used:
1/2 cup egg whites
splash of nonfat milk
salt and pepper
(mixed in a bowl)
sauteed onions and mushrooms in garlic, onion powder and evoo
1/2 chopped fresh tomato
handful of baby spinach

I mixed the eggs while the veggies were sauteeing, wilted the spinach, added the egg mixture, let it cook on medium for about 5 minutes until it was almost set, then transferred the whole pan to the broiler for two minutes, added some shredded mozzarella to the top and broiled for another minute. It came out perfect! I also had a couple veggie sausage links I snagged from my parents' house today as well!

It was just the right sized dinner for a long day. I'm glad I got my work done... I'm so tired, it's most likely going to be an early night!

Ha! I've seen those bars and wanted to try them, but alas, I am not with child and so I felt odd. Now I just might do it anyway!
