A day well spent

I had a nice day off today- I spent a couple hours in the morning doing school work I needed to do, and then when I got hungry I made myself lunch- I heated up my last frozen serving of Jenna's Chunky Lentil Soup, and had it along with some carrots and a cheese stick.

This was delcious and filling from the protein+fiber, so it held me through my slightly unsuccessful shopping trip (I ended up with cinnamon, plastic baggies and tea)... But I did find one present as well!
Then I headed to campus to pick up Tyler- I had 1/2 of this apple crisp muffin while I waited for him.

We went straight to the gym, where I did a sweaty 30 minute interval run workout, followed by 10-15 minutes of squats with a 30 lb barbell (2 sets of 10), lunges (2 sets of 15, with 10 lb weights) and a couple hamstring exercises.
I felt good after the workout, even though I was only there about 45 minutes!

After my workout I was hungry so I snacked on the other half of my muffin and some 0% chobani.

I kinda lazyed around the rest of the afternoon- had a nice chat with my mom on the phone, and then I decided to make dinner. I didn't think I was really hungry yet until I started cooking... then my appetite came around! I made an easy dinner tonight, but the flavor was amazing! BBQ chicken sammie with sauteed mushrooms and onions on a Matthew's whole wheat bun, with some steamed broccoli on the side. I used one boneless skinless chicken breast I sauteed with cooking spray until done, then chopped it up and tossed with 2 tbsp 365 tangy BBQ sauce. While I was chopping the chicken I toasted my bun and sauteed some of my frozen seasoned mushrooms & onions to go on top. It came out delicious!

I ate it like a sammie, with the leftover chicken on the side!

I'm still a bit hungry, but it might be boredom hunger- I'm going to go do a few things and see if I'm still hungry. If I am, dessert it is!
