In the Christmas Spirit

Finally, with Anatomy behind me and only 1 exam to go... it's starting to feel like CHRISTMAS!!

This morning I had breakfast with Santa with my mom, dad, sis and grandparents... and of course the man in red! Although, I didn't get a picture 'cuz he was a bit occupied with the youngins who wanted to sit on his lap... I think I'm a bit too big now =(

It was still a great breakfast! A nice buffet- I took a little of everything! French toast with powdered sugar (and a drizzle of syrup!) potatoes with peppers and onions, bacon (I loooove crispy bacon!) and eggs.

The eggs were so-so... so I only had one helping. But the rest was fabulous, so I went back for seconds!

I also had a cup of coffee and 1/2 a cup of cranberry juice.
Before we left I had 1/2 a banana walked on an incline on the treadmill for 30 minutes... my legs are still very sore from Thursday's workout, I'm looking forward to my rest day tomorrow!

After we bid adieu to the grandparents, we headed to pick out a nice Christmas Tree for the 'rents house, and once we had it home and set up the girls set out to do some holiday errands!! Bows, ribbons, bags and boxes galore... plus all the fixin's for a whole bunch of batches of Christmas Cookies! We spent a fortune at Stop&Shop, but it will be soooo worth it once we try those cookies I'm sure!!

After shopping we stopped for lunch at Pick Pockets- I had the Crazy Veggie, which was filled to the brim with hummus, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cucumbers, red pepper, green pepper, sprouts, banana peppers, hummus and a balsamic viniagrette. Yum! I also sipped on a diet Snapple pink lemonade!

As messy as this stuffed pita was, I ate it all up!

We got back home and my mom gave me a hand packing my car full of cookie groceries and wrapping supplies. I came back home, and now I'm at my house, debating which cookie recipe to try first! I had a few mint m&ms while unpacking as well (picx2)...dangerous candy bowl!!

Peanut Butter Ginger or Jumbles??
