I was back and forth today, going going going!
I hope some of you got the chance to check out Nick's blog this afternoon in my absence!
Because I was going to be doing a fitness assessment in KIN today, I skipped the gym this morning in favor of breakfast at home and going to school a little later. I made myself a yogurt granola bowl- I tried this new yogurt:
It was good, but I still like chobani the best for the price!!
I topped my yogurt with 1/2 cup Nature's Path Flax Plus granola and a banana.
I didn't end up getting to my fitness assessment today, so I can plan on it Thursday! I snacked on a light string cheese in between classes, and then after class dug into my lunch.
Ham sammie the usual way- honey ham, light laughing cow and spinach on an Arnold's sandwich thin and a nectarine. I saved the carrots to go with dinner!
I headed to the gym after classes and some studying (and a quick visit with my best friend, Danielle which was a nice surprise!)
I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, followed by 25 minutes of leg work. A pretty good workout in less than an hour!
I showered, ran a couple quick errands and stopped at Starbucks for a chai tea and to have my afternoon snack before work:
I love these bars!! Soo yummy, they taste like candy!!
Work was boring, as usual- I basically just did my job, hung around until dinner- I tried this delicious Indian dinner from Trader Joe's- despite being a bit high in sodium, it was moderate in calories and fat, very tasty and filling!
Two thumbs up!!
Back home after work I was craving something sweet- so I had a small bowl of no sugar added rice pudding with some cinnamon for a treat. I'm still a little hungry so I may grab some fruit as well.
Sorry for the speedy post, but I am exhausted! Night all!
Kristin
