An interesting, but yummy combination!
I love combining sweet flavors =)
Tonight, as you might have guessed, I went for a peach yogurt with pom seeds (2 tbsp).
This was just enough for a sweet snack, filled me along with my AMAZING mint citrus teaforte tea (given to me by my lovely roommate for christmas)... and now I'm ready to call it an early night.
Total snack calories: ~85 kcal
Total calories for the day: ~1815 kcal; more than I usually take in, especially with my shorter run... but I did take yoga, and I AM trying to gain a few pounds so every once in a while days like this can't hurt.
Update on the dessert status for tomorrow: I gave my Dad a cute "survey" to see his preference for ice cream for tomorrow night's surprise treat... he chose "mint chip"- MY favorite as well; plus it just so happens to be one of the healthier of the Hood Red Sox Ice Creams! (1/2 cup= 180 kcal, 10 g fat.)
As long as I keep within portions it should be a yummy treat =)
Looks like I'm headed for a high-cal/fat/saturated dinner... I'll try and be as moderate as possible during the day in that case!
