Rain, rain go away!

This rain just won't quit!
At least I only have 1 class today; I can spend the rest of the day relaxing and working in the dorm before dinner/yoga.
It wasn't raining when I woke up, so I grabbed 1/2 a wheat mini bagel with 1/2 tbsp PB and 1 tsp all-natural raspberry jam (i'm really enjoying the W.F. kind!) and headed to the gym for a nice 40 minute run.

After showering, I had 1 cup of low fat cottage cheese along with the other 1/2 of my mini bagel with another 1/2 Tbsp PB and 1 tsp jam, and a nice green anjou pear. I tend to like the anjou pears a little harder than my bartelett pears... this one was just right!

Breakfast calories: ~530 kcal
I am running out of fruit though, as well as mini bagels, cottage cheese, cereal... I'm def. going to need to do some shopping this week!

Alright, time to finish my coffee and get some work done before Kinesiology (So excited to go to this class- even though I think we might have a quiz, at least I look forward to the trek down to Flagg road!)

Hope your Wednesday is drier than mine...

Hey! I've talked to some of my friends about the blog, and my mom knows about it- she's been helping me a lot with my whole weight gaining, etc- she's pretty awesome!
Anyone who wants to know can know, but I don't talk about it too much.
I do understand how hard it can be in this environment... temptations EVERYWHERE! Oatmeal cookies and ice cream were definately yelling to me at the dining hall today... I had to run away!

Feel free to email me or comment if you ever want to rant about healthy eating in college!

Im a college student, and I know what you mean. It makes me feel good to know that I'm treating my body right, and I've gotten to the point where I'm comfortable with myself and my choices to not feel like I need to sway in any direction to please other people or avoid weird looks...who cares, right?!!

keep up the good work!

Exactly, what's wrong with making GOOD choices? They won't be criticizing us when they're obese and have multiple health problems when they're 30 because of the bad choices they're making now!
Yay for being healthy!
