Today was a mixture of events... I stayed in my room to study this afternoon, where I snacked on an organic cheese stick to hold me until dinner.
Snack: 80 kcals
Well, I guess it held me better than I expected because once I started to feel a little hungry I glanced over at my clock and realized I only had 1/2 an hour to make dinner, eat and get ready before Yoga!
So I was slightly rushed, but my dinner still turned out pretty fab for such a quick fix.
I heated up one of my Bumble Bee Salmon Filets- this time it was teriyaki flavored. Mmm! A bit high in sodium, but otherwise low in fats (all the fats in it; 3 g, are healthy from the Salmon!), high in protein and moderate in calories. Good for a quick meal!
I also cooked up some brussels sprouts and had a spinach salad with tomato and yellow pepper drizzled with 1 tbsp Annie's dressing.
(I know the salmon looks funny, but it was delish I promise!)
This meal was only ~310 kcals.
It filled me up for a night light dinner before I went to a great Vinyasa flow class at All That Matters.
I'm glad I got a class in this week; I can't go to my usual class tomorrow because I have to work!
This class was very calming, I feel centered enough to get some more work done (pre lab and dishes) before bed tonight!
I'll be having a snack in a little bit as well I'm sure.
