Book lover's delight!

Today I got out of both chemistry AND chem lab early... a great start to my break (although it doesn't officially start until after my Kinesiology presentation tomorrow, of course...) for sure!
So, I took the opportunity to take a stroll to the library and browse... for a good hour! I was searching for Eat, Pray Love but I guess it's in demand because we didn't have a single copy! That's alright, I found two other books I've been dying to read... one for a food lover, My life in France by Julia Child, and one for a nutrition lover- Fast Food Nation. I'm so excited to have some time to read over break!

As for food, I think my stomach FINALLY started feeling better later this afternoon, just when I got back. All day I had this funny "acidic" feeling... maybe heartburn? Probably TMI, but it's nothing gross- just uncomfortable. I didn't have a problem eating though!
For lunch today I packed another hummus-pita with my new fave artichoke black olive hummus (2 tbsp, 1 on each half), stuffed with some romaine, 1/2 a bell pepper and some cucumber slices. I also had a bunch of baby carrots (about 12 because there were a few tiny ones in there!) and a perfectly ripe pear.

Veggie-full:

I ate a bit later than usual (ezekiel holds me well!), so I saved my snack for after my lab- I nibbled on the other 1/2 of my pre-run Crunchy Peanut Butter Clif bar (from yesterday) on the way to the library.
My later snack means I'm not hungry for dinner quite yet, so I'm going to attempt to start on some work, then make my dinner, and pack all my bags for spring break! Whoo! (Whoo on spring break, not packing- ugh. hehe)
