Fun finds

This morning I did a nice 1 hour pilates class with my Mom, which was ok- but I decided I much prefer yoga. I didn't feel as strengthened and relaxed as I do during yoga, actually I just felt uncomfortable and inexperienced... they said it was an "all levels" class but I guess not. Oh, well- I'll be back to my regular yoga next week.
Afterwards we headed up to the city, where we stopped by Best Buy to look at an adapter so I can use my laptop in Italy, and by the time we found what I needed we were starving for lunch!
So, we headed over to my favorite healthy fast-food, Fresh City. I love their wraps and salad bar, but today both my Mom and I were in the mood for Stir frys! So, I loaded my bowl with veggies (bok choy, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, sprouts, peppers, onions, baby corn, water chestnuts) and ordered it with brown rice, tofu and the Peanut Satay sauce (1/2 sauce). While in line, I snacked on some of their free pita chips (a small handful), that I didn't take a picture of because I ate them so fast! I love the cinnamon sugar =)

After lunch, we headed to Target for a few things. I've gotta say, I love target! (As I call it, tar-jay... I think it sounds classier! hehe) We picked up some Method cleaning products, I got some organic shampoo to take to Italy, I bought The Time Traveler's Wife to read after I finish Eat, Pray, Love and I found an adorable flower bowl I can't wait to use for my granola tomorrow morning! My favorite find of all, though, were a box of mini clif bars, the perfect size for a small sweet treat or a pre-run snack! It was a trio of crunchy peanut butter, chocolate brownie and chocolate chip.
I had a chocolate brownie one with an apple I packed for a snack on the way home. It really did taste like a brownie, yum!

It was another fun day out (I love shopping, what can I say?!) and now I'm about to go start to prepare dinner- my Mom found a recipe for Soybean loaf out of the Eat Clean cookbook, which sounds really yummy so I'm going to make that for her!

I've never been a fan of pilates - I always feel more stressed out afterwards, since the moves can be a little confusing.

Ahh, I haven't been to Fresh City in so long!! I too love their stir-fry meals. Yum!

Sounds like you had a fabulous day!! Enjoy what's left of it :0)
