Pour some sugar on me...

Bad girl.
I have never been one to be a stress eater. Or a late night eater, although that has come up a bit recently.
But last night... I had two snacks- not one, but TWO...one, I thought, was sweet enough to cure my sweet tooth for the night.
But as I sat at my desk doing my Anatomy studying I couldn't keep the bag of Autumn Mix out of the corner of my eye... one scoop... two scoops... yep, two small handfuls of candy corn into the tummy.

They were good, but were they worth it?
Eh, probably not. Just something to distract me from studying and indulge gluttonous behavior.

I'm trying to gain more self control when it comes to eating... I feel like I'm at a pretty good balance, but I'm going through a lot of changes in my life, I'm busier, working more, school is tough, I have some new friends... so I'm trying to control all of these changes in a healthful way.
And yes, I'm still trying to gain muscle! Which hasn't been happening lately... I might make a few more changes regarding that as well.

Anyways, after a tiny bit of Anatomy I was pooped, so I headed to bed and woke up this morning well rested, finally.
I made myself one of my favorite warm meals, 3/4 cup (1.5 servings) Ezekiel cereal (Cinnamon Raisin) cooked with 1 cup hemp milk and a nectarine. Mmm, warm, sweet and delicious!

Not to mention filling... a 1/2 cup portion might actually fill me now that I'm back to eating smaller meals. I was stuffed after this!!

On to some more studying, then my usual saturday errands before work- laundry, workout, groceries.
I'll be back after lunch!

Ooo that autumn candy corn mix is so tempting, it's okay to enjoy it as a treat every now and then...and hey, studying burns calories too! :)
