Restless

Last night I had the WORST night of sleep. My bed was sooo comfy, and all I wanted to do was fall asleep, but for some reason I kept dozing off, and waking up, on and off all night! I even had a nightmare, which I haven't had in years!... and I was trying to think, what could it be? The house is quiet, I'm comfortable here and I usually don't have a problem sleeping in new places. In Italy I went to sleep after having 4 beers and was fine so it sure wasn't the 1/2 a heiny... then it hit me. I had both a diet coke waiting for dinner, and a sun tea at dinner. Caffeine has been affecting me SO much lately, it never used to! Maybe because I went so long with such a minimal amount... now it hits me like a ton of bricks, and I am up for hours and hours if I've had any. I guess I'll have to remember to stay away from soda and black tea late at night! I'm going to need my rest, especially when school starts!

Anyway, I woke up from my restless, but comfortable sleep this morning and immediately made myself a bowl of creamy oatmeal, my first batch at the house! I used 1/2 cup rolled oats in 1 cup water, a tablespoon peanut butter, a sliced banana, and 1/2 cup 0% chobani for extra protein and creaminess. Plus the obligatory dash of cinnamon, and I had one of my favorite delicious, smooth oatmeal combos!

Filled me right up, as usual. Today I might have to pack myself a little lunch; I'll be on the go all day! I'm going to try and scope out my neighborhood with a nice run this morning- we'll see how far I go on such little sleep... and then Tyler and I are going to pick up some more housegoods before I meet Danielle for her birthday. Which reminds me...

TANTI AGURI PER IL TUO COMPLEANNO TIRA!!! Baci e abbracci!

See you all later tonight =)

P.S. If you haven't noticed, I have a new ad page element on my blog... check it out if theres something that appeals to you!

Hey Kristin, I was just wondering somthing, kinda random. For the past 4 months, Ive been running 5 or 6days a week, usualy 2-3 miles each time. The past week and a half, running is the last thing Ive wanted to do, for no particular reason, but Im just not interested. Does this ever happen to you? How do you snap yourself out of it. Congrats on the new apartment, it must be so exciting. Thanks!
