If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Happy Humpday!
Ahh, another busy day behind me.
I just got back from dropping Nick off at the airport, he's on his way to sunny Florida right now while I'm here bundled up in a big sweatshirt at my drafty beach house in New England. Can you tell I'm jealous?

As for the rest of the day, I have to admit my eats were, well... pretty darn boring.
Nothin' really new except a change in cereal, but as the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
My eats were tasty, filling, healthy and balanced so I don't see a problem in the same ol' same ol' - as long as I switch it up every once in a while! ;)

I woke up on time and had 1/2 a PB choc chip clif bar before going to the gym to do my cardio and strength. I think I pulled my arm a bit the other day so I had a little trouble on my left side but otherwise it was a good workout!
Afterwards I had breakfast- my usual Chobani, banana and cereal- but this time I had 1 cup of this new cereal:

It was good, a lot like Quaker Oatmeal Squares, but a little "puffier". I still think I like the Oat Squares better, but these were on sale so they're a good substitute!

For lunch I packed my usual trio- turkey sammie with organic smoked turkey, light laughing cow, hummus and spinach on a wheat Arnold's Sandwich Thin. Carrots and a Mactintosh apple on the side!

Back home after lunch and some studying I had a yummy snackie before going to pick up Nick- 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese topped with 1/4 cup cashew green tea granola. Still tasty, but the mangos were a bit hard- its a month or so old!

I made an easy dinner when I came home- my fave trio, salmon, brussels sprouts and sweet potato. I steamed the brussels and topped 'em with a bit of s&p, micro baked the sweet tater and added about 1 tsp smart balance to the top, and cooked up the de-frosted salmon in a bit of evoo on the stove. Although I would have preferred fresh or flash-frozen salmon, I still have a few of these pre-grilled fillets to go through, they're still tasty!

Yum x 3!

I'm about to do a bit more studying before relaxing with a hot cup of tea and a great book for the night- with all the work I've done these last couple of days, I think I deserve to give myself a bit of a break!

Ohmigosh, I forgot my big news- I got a 90% on my last Anatomy exam, which means I'm officially passing!! Whoo!
