Merry & Busy

Happy Christmas Eve day, guys!

I have been non-stop since the moment I woke up at 6:45 this a.m.!
I started off the day with 1/2 a clif bar and headed to the gym for a pretty good workout. I say 'pretty good' because I cut one set off my last two arm exercises because I was feeling a little weak... I'm definitely thinking it's because of all the un-healthy foods I've been eating... I always feel stronger when I'm properly fueled!
After my workout I ate breakfast in my car:

And headed out to two grocery stores and another to pick up a last minute gift. Let me tell you it was CRAZY out there! I am in desperate need of gas and all the pumps were full so I just crossed my fingers I'd make it home (I did!) and get it tomorrow...ridiculous!

$85 later we're stocked up for today, tomorrow and friday. Crazy!!
Back home I snacked on a quick oatmeal cookie before I set out to make my sister and her friends a special lunch.

They got together today for a bit of a holiday gift exchange, and I told my sister I'd make her one of her favorites... mac n cheese! I baked this kind and made it a little healthier using nonfat milk and reduced fat cheese. We also had salads with dried cranberries, chopped almonds and apple dressing.


I'm off to start working on my cheesecake I'm making for tomorrow! I still have baking and gift wrapping to do today... then I have to get ready for my family's annual Christmas Eve dinner at Seven Moons! So excited!
