Hello all!
Hope you all had a good Monday; mine was filled with Ayurveda studying and reading, so I had a good one!
Here's the shake I had for a snack-
and for dinner, we went cajun crazy with spicy cajun pan seared chicken and veggie dirty rice!
Nick helped me out by shaking some chicken breasts with cajun seasoning and flour, which I pan seared with a bit of evoo (1 tsp per person). For the rice, I cooked up some brown rice and tossed in 2 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes with chilis, one whole chopped green pepper, 1/2 a white onion, a pinch of salt, a pinch of fresh black pepper, a squirt of sriracha and 1/2 a crushed dried hot pepper.
Turned out fantastic, spicy but not too much- nice and warm and comforting, great for my dosha!
Tonight we're probably just hanging out here, watching some more Monty Python... which I LOVE so it should be a good night =)
