Thanks for all your beautiful responses and emails to my last post!
I can't even describe how much better I've felt today than I have in a long time, more free, more accepting, more "ahhh... live and let live" than I have in a while!
I don't know where my revelation came from but I'm happy to be back on the optimistic side!
This morning I woke up to a (still snowy white) but very sunny and just a tad bit warmer day, which made me all the more happy!
I started with a favorite- a berry smoothie made with 1 cup nonfat soy, 1 cup frozen berries, a big banana and a scoop of designer whey chocolate protein powder.
I worked out- the usual M/W/F of 35 minutes each elliptical and arm strength, then headed to school for my first class.
I ended up getting a 98% on my Sports Nutrition exam, which I was very psyched about =)
For lunch I had another delicious Indian meal, and some grapes
I spent 3 whole hours studying before having my snacks I packed- a honey chobani (I like this one as much as the vanilla!) with some pecans. Also pictured is my usual mid-morning cheese stick.
My writing class was great as usual, we worked on our projects in small groups and I had an entertaining chat with two very interesting girls, and you all know I love to chat!
For dinner back home, I made this Ginger Chicken with Rice Noodles recipe from fitness magazine, and added some pickled ginger to the top. Nick and I both enjoyed this one very much!
Although I love rice noodles, I'm still not quite full so I'll definitely be going back for a snack later!!
