Looking up

Things are looking up for a summer job in Newport!

Happy St. Joesph's day everyone! I'm not Italian, but living there for a month I need to recognize the very Italian holiday!

I spent the morning with my Dad today, I mentioned going to the gym the other day and he said he wanted to come with me. So I yanked him out of bed at 7 am, and we were out the door in no time! On the way over I snacked on half this clif bar-

and while I was there I got a good hour in- 30 minutes on the stat bike and 30 minutes of my usual legwork. I got my Dad to try the elliptical, which he loved, and introduced him to some arm exercises to strengthen his sore shoulder.
Back home after, I was very ready for breakfast!

I made a yogurt bowl- 1 0% chobani, a sliced banana, some sliced strawberries (so fresh and sweet again!!) and 1/4 cup slivered almonds.

It held me through the morning, my Dad and I stopped by the preschool my mom works at to surprise her with an italian treat I'll reveal later. Then Dad & I went over to Newport to grab some lunch and continue my job search. We ate at one of my favorite Delis- Pick Pockets. I had never tried the one in Newport, and it was just as good as it's sister in Wakefield!

I got the Pick Pocket- I was craving Eggplant! It's lightly breaded eggplant, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, romaine and balsamic vinegar all in a big fresh wrap! I cleaned my plate!

After lunch we headed to check out a possible job, which I am happy to say seems like a very great position so I am crossing my fingers, I'll keep you updated!

Speaking of work, I need to head to my current part time job soon- I plan on having a snack and packing my dinner now, so I'll post again when I get back home at 9!

Have a nice Thursday all, keep smiling- tomorrow's Friday!! Not that it matters that much to me this week, I've had the whole week off ;)
