Plugging along

Another Tuesday gone by, another day of my killer week-before-break finished.
This morning I knew I had to wake up early and start my day because I had a lot to do!

I packed my breakfast to go- 1/2 a oatmeal raisin walnut clif bar for before the gym, a chobani, trail mix and a banana for afterwards.

The gym was good- not very many people there so I had plenty of floor space to do my leg exercises! I also did 30 minutes of cardio on the stat bike.

School went by fast- we went over two major projects in my Kinesiology class, and I had an exam in Physio that (cross my fingers!) I hope I did well in.

After my exam I spent a few hours in the library, where I ate my lunch and studied for my next exam on Thursday. I packed a delicious turkey sammie with all natural turkey, lettuce, a light laughing cow and my favorite new addition- sundried tomato basil hummus, on a whole wheat sandwich thin. Some carrots for crunch completed my mid-study meal.

After some studying, I hopped in my car and made my way to Starbucks to grab a tea and have my snack before work. I packed a cup of Nonfat cottage cheese. It did it's job holding me over, but I am not a big fan of the Cabot brand at all. Tasted almost like plastic, yuck! I'll stick with my usual whipped Friendship from now on.

Work was work, and I had a good dinner break to look forward to- a big bowl of Dad's lentil soup, along with a baggie of perfect red grapes.

Then my sweet tooth struck. ALL I wanted were spiced jellybeans! I've been surrounded by them, being a drugstore we put up our Easter candy like 3 months ahead and I've been able to resist the sugary beans... until now. We had bags for 69 cents, so I couldn't resist. I did stick to a half serving portion though, and it was just enough to satisfy my craving!

Back home after work I had yet ANOTHER sweet treat- this one on the healthier side, a sliced nectarine.

Time for bed, I'm wiped!

Friendship cottage cheese is THE best...too bad I can only get it at Stop & Shop when I go home from college. :( Sadness.

Happy Hump Day!
